By placing an order on scenttrial.co.za, you agree to the following terms. Please read them before purchasing.

1. About Scent Trial

Scent Trial is a South African fragrance discovery service. We sell GC-MS matched fragrance trial vials and full bottles under the Scent Trial brand. Our products are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by the original fragrance houses referenced in our product descriptions. All brand names mentioned are used solely to describe the fragrance profile being matched.

2. Our products

All Scent Trial fragrances are produced using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) matching technology. This process replicates the exact molecular composition of the referenced fragrance. Scent Trial products are sold as fragrance impressions and are independent products under the Scent Trial brand.

3. Ordering and payment

Scent Trial operates on a pay-per-order model. There are no recurring debit orders, no subscriptions, and no automatic billing. Each order is a once-off transaction. You are only charged when you choose to place an order.

Payment is processed securely via PayFast. Scent Trial does not store your card or banking details.

4. Pricing

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include delivery. Scent Trial reserves the right to change prices at any time. The price displayed at the time of your order is the price you will be charged.

5. Delivery

Orders are delivered via The Courier Guy locker-to-locker service. By placing an order you confirm that you have access to a Courier Guy locker point. Delivery times are estimates and may vary. Scent Trial is not liable for delays caused by the courier.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy, available on our website. Opened fragrance products cannot be returned unless they are defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied.

7. Intellectual property

All Scent Trial branding, content, and product descriptions are the property of Scent Trial. Third-party brand names referenced in product descriptions remain the property of their respective owners. Their use on this site does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

8. Limitation of liability

Scent Trial's liability is limited to the value of the order placed. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our products. If you have a known fragrance allergy or skin sensitivity, please review the ingredient list before use. Scent Trial is not liable for adverse reactions arising from failure to do so.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.

10. Changes to these terms

Scent Trial reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
